Approach to Education

At Little Reddings we champion each and every one of our pupils, meeting their needs and ensuring steady and sustained progress through skillful adaptation of our creative curriculum. Our planning meets the needs of each child, and staff draw on rigorous assessment and professional collaboration to ensure that every learner is supported and challenged.

We value the power of play as a crucial component of early childhood development. Our provision-based approach from Nursery through to Year 2 allows our pupils to explore, discover, and learn through engaging, open-ended activities.

We recognise that positive behaviour choices create purposeful, positive learning environments, and we hold high expectations for our pupils’ conduct. At the same time, we respect the individual journeys of our families and understand how their experiences may influence the way and rate at which their children learn.

Above all, we strive to create meaningful learning opportunities that not only prepare our pupils for the next stage of their educational journey but also empower them to become successful, confident, and compassionate adults, ready to make a positive impact on the world.
