Little Reddings is a part of a joint academy (St James Trust) with Bushey Meads Secondary School, with a purpose built Nursery Unit. At present there are 360 on roll in the school. The school operates in three buildings and is fortunate in having spacious accommodation including two halls and dining rooms, a library, two music rooms, facilities for cookery, a kiln room and a new purpose built ICT suite.
Classrooms are light, airy and of a good size, each having its own toilet and cloakroom facilities. Easy access to paved and grassed areas allows useful extension of certain activities out of doors, weather permitting.
The Nursery opens out onto a safely enclosed grassed and semicovered hard play area, which affords ample opportunity for the out-of-door activities needed by our youngest children. All pupils start in both nursery and reception in September – there is just one admission date per year. With effect from September 2012 the school has increased it’s admissions number (PAN) from 51 to 60. Class sizes are kept at numbers between 25 and 30 where possible.
For an application for a nursery or school place please fill in and forward the application form to the school office. Please contact the school office (020 8950 5388) for any further information.
